Mesiniaga Berhad

Mesiniaga was established in 17 December 1981 in response to Malaysia’s New Economic Policy (NEP) to increase local participation in the technology industry. At the time, the objective of the company’s establishment was to serve as IBM's sole hardware dealer and agent in Malaysia. Ismail Sulaiman, who was then the General Manager of IBM Malaysia together with 50 ex-IBM personnel became the first batch of Mesiniaga employees.
When we started, we were the sole agent and distributor for IBM office products. We have since evolved into a multi-platform systems integrator, partnering with many other globally renowned technology partners in order to provide a full range of IT hardware, software and services.
Mesiniaga was listed on KLSE Main Board (now known as Bursa Malaysia Main Market) on 17 November 1999 and have evolved into one of Malaysia’s leading ICT solutions providers and integrators. Our mission is to drive customer business performance through technology and innovation. Despite being a technology company, our view on technology is that it merely acts as an enabler in improving customers’ business performance. As such, our value to clients lies in our understanding of their business challenges and subsequently providing best-of-breed business answers that will enhance their productivity, competitive advantage and profitability.
Overview of operations
Mesiniaga provides end-to-end IT solutions and services supported by many internationally renowned technology companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Cisco and many more. Our solutions provide the building blocks, management capabilities and security for any IT infrastructure that is meant to drive customers’ productivity, competitive advantage and profitability.
We have more than 900 employees based in three main branches (Subang Jaya, Georgetown and Johor Bahru) and we also have our technical experts based in 41 nationwide service locations throughout Malaysia.
Our organisation structure is divided into two main areas; business divisions and support divisions. Business divisions comprise Maintenance & Managed Services, Project Management, Solution Marketing, Hardware Infrastructure, Network Services Unit, Partner Management, Software Infrastructure, Sales, Solutions Integration, Shared Services & Outsourcing and Software Development. Support divisions comprise Finance, Internal Audits, Business Control, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Information Systems, General Services and Sales Support.
