O.Y.L. Manufacturing Co Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, is an air-conditioner manufacturer. With our acquisition by Daikin, we are currently the world’s second largest air-conditioner manufacturer. OYLM markets its products domestically under the ‘Acson’ and ‘York’ brands, where we are a licensed manufacturer and OEM for York in Malaysia. OYLM’s products are distributed to over 55 countries throughout five continents.
Research & Development Centre
The OYL research & development centre is located next to our manufacturing plant in Sungai Buloh. It is the largest air-conditioner R&D centre in South-East Asia, with a total built up area of 7,340 square metres. To date, a total of RM40mil has been invested in the building and research facilities.

Training
All YEP participants undergo a systematic and comprehensive training comprising classroom and on-the job training during their first six months.

At OYL, we encourage work-life balance. OYL Sports Club has played an important role to organize various sports events and competitions throughout the year, ie bowling, futsal, badminton, snooker, table tennis, darts, fishing, etc. We also provide in-house sport facilities such as courts for futsal, volleyball, basketball and netball.
